Flower Seller Was Telling About His Swanky Lifestyle For An Hour And His Card Got Declined Twice At The End Of The Date
Calum was in this situation and the worst part was that he had been boasting about his finances all night before presenting his card and getting it declined. All this was featured on a show called First Dates. It is less embarrassing and more of a blow to ego if you have spent the past one hour in showing off your lavish lifestyle.
Calum, a flower seller was on a date with Lucy and was looking for a partner to stay in holiday cottages and for skiing trips. While talking to Meril at the bar, Calum mentioned about his salmon fishing trip in Inverness and was quick enough to mention his parents’ 85-acre-farm when his date arrived.
When the bill came at the end of their meals, Calum’s got declined, not once but twice. Lucy had been offering to pay but the guy wanted to be a stud and opened up his phone to transfer some money to his account after the first declination.
To Calum’s dismay and Lucy’s amusement, his card got declined again!
The bill might have crossed the budget because Lucy had rejected his wine choice. It is unbelievable that people are open to such humiliation on the stupid box where the world can see such things happening to them. If you are going to be on a show like this make sure you have enough balance in your account if you want to avoid such inevitable embarrassing situations.
On social media, some people felt bad for this lad but most of them were just laughing over his embarrassment.
A person on social media said, “Shot down in flames there wasn’t he… so posh but has no money.”
Another one was of the opinion that he was a prat, all mouth, and no trousers.
Well, things ended well for him as Lucy agreed to go on another date with him. So, you can make fun of him all you want but he got a date and you are sitting here reading this sad article.
