Man Converted Nolan’s Tenet Onto Gameboy Out Of Spite

Christopher Nolan might have urged the viewers to watch Tenet in the theatres. But he has overlooked the consequences of the present scenario, which is why a bloke has been keen to transfer the movie into a GameBoy cartridge. And there’s actually a believable reason for what he’s doing.

When Nolan’s Tenet was being released, he requested everyone to go and watch it on the big screen. Well, it doesn’t seem to be the year when you can have the same enjoyment as we had initially. The COVID-19 has worsened the entire situation. Wulff Den, on the other hand, is a YouTuber who just wished to do the contrary of Nolan’s request: finding the smallest screen to watch Tenet.

As Nolan admitted that the amalgamation of sound and picture is a joy only if it is watched in theatre on a big screen. This news soon got spread across the Internet and memes were being shared on how Nolan has completely ignored the possible outcomes of this global pandemic. Wulff, popularly known as Bob Wulff, explains that he thought about putting his mind to enjoy the movie on a GameBoy Advance.

Thirty minutes is the maximum time to watch a GameBoy Advance video, so it took five cartridges to transfer the entire movie. Creating labels was also an important task, so he managed to create some custom-made labels for the cartridge as well. Despite agreeing with the fact that it’s the worst way to watch Tenet, he’s curious to see the result.

Moreover, people with the same level of interest can watch his video where he explains all the steps to make one of your own. Upon getting asked if Nolan has a problem with people watching Dunkirk on a phone or any other devices, he stated that he isn’t bothered by how people are going to watch his movies.

He said, “No, I don’t. But the reason I don’t is that it’s put into these big theatres as its primary form or its initial distribution. And the experience trickles down, to the extent where, if you have an iPad and you’re watching a movie, you carry with you the knowledge and your understanding of what that cinematic experience would be and you extrapolate that.” So, watching it on an iPad will shape your perspective towards the movie in a completely different way. However, he’d be astonished to know that someone has been watching his movie on a GameBoy.
