Splitting Bill On First Dates Can Offend Girls Like Her, Choose Wisely!

The best way to end the first date is by splitting the bill into half. Well, keep this way until you are comfortable taking favors from the next person. We live in an era where women want equal rights and opportunities. However, some ladies fail to understand the basic things they need to do for getting what they are demanding.

You need to throw gender stereotypes out of the window and never let them come inside your mind or lifestyle. That is what this man believed in and thought splitting the bill would be apt. CuteBananaMuffin, a username at Reddit had a story to tell. He posted some screenshot of a chat with a girl; he went out on a date just once.

When he texted her after the date if the second date was on cards, the reply of the anonymous girl left him startled.

Her furious reply read, “After what you did last time you expect me to go out with you again? Wow. You made me pay for my own food and drink while you paid only for yours, wtf.”

Well, the mentioning of the term “wtf” was more apt if the guy would have said it because his reply makes even more sense.

He replied, “So? You invited me, lol! You are lucky you didn’t pay for my food too. Plus I got a carbonara and a beer while you got lobster and €80 bottle of wine. My food was €17.50 while yours was €110. And you were really expecting me to pay that? I’m a student, not your sugar daddy.”

Sounds fair to us! We agree, nobody wants to come across as an idiot but then spending hundreds of bucks just to show off in front of a date is illogical!

Most of the people agreed to his explanation but when the girl read his reply she became even more bitter and said that she would never go on a date with him. According to her, a gentleman always pays for the girl’s food, no matter what.

After this, the guy decided to tell what he actually felt about the date. He said that he weren’t a gentleman, he wouldn’t have stayed after knowing how much she wanted to make out with “XYZ”.

The girl knew that she was about to lose the defeat, so she used a cheap tactic and tried to end the conversation by saying, “all you wanted was to have fun with me anyway so bye loser”.

The guy was adamant on winning the argument so he ended by saying that definitely he wanted that but later he realized that he would have to pay $22 for that.

OUCH! Did that hurt bad?
