Almeda had been married for 43 years before her first husband died but she says that she found her true soulmate in Gary Hardwick. She met this 16-year-old lad at her son’s funeral in 2016. Her son, Robert died at the age of 45 due to seizures.

Gary was invited by his aunt Lisa to her husband’s funeral. That is when they realized that it was an instant connection. They started meeting each other and the wedding was on the card soon after that.

While talking about her encounter with Gary, Almeda said, “I was married for 43 years and there wasn’t a lot of kissy, huggy stuff going on…no romance.

My current relationship is a whirlwind. We are always complimenting and kissing. We’re enjoying our relationship. When you meet that perfect one, that’s when you know you don’t want to lose that feeling.

The compliments, the hugs the kisses… that’s very romantic.”

After two weeks of meeting each other, they got married and said that the first time they got intimate was on their wedding night. While talking about their physical relationship, Gary was happy to tell, “It was wonderful, beyond my wildest dreams. She really is my dream woman and the physical side of our relationship couldn’t be better.”

According to Almeda, it is the little things that matter in a relationship and that is what she suggests to everyone. Focusing on the primary things will make the relationship a dream world.

Before meeting the 77-year-old, Gary was in a really dark space of his life. His parents blessed the couple and he even has Almeda’s name tattooed on his chest.

He is inspired by his wife and he says, “The one thing I’ve learned is that when you truly love somebody, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.”
