In a beautiful incident, a couple named Kacie Howell and Michael Bauer shared that their first encounter was on the most beautiful place on the earth. No, we are not talking about the Disney World. The couple found themselves at the Target in Frisco, Texas, and if their new engagement photos prove anything, it is that the big red bull's eye has a special place in their hearts.
The couple recently shared their lovely Target-themed photo shoot, and the internet is flooding with their creative and unique idea. Kacie told how she met her soon-to-be-husband while working at Target. She told how they both came up with this idea as they both have been working at Target together since 2015.
The now-couple started working at the mega-store about a week apart from each other, before the holiday season, so of course, that meant a lot of late nights and staff bonding.
Kacie told that that was the place where their relationship began. And jollily this couple got engaged on July twenty-seven and everyone knew where they should take their pictures.
Although some people insisted on more traditional and ethnic pictures, Kacie and Michael both have a good sense of humor. Kacie who is now working as a teacher told that was completely on board for the goofy shoot. She even told that it did not cost her any convincing to Michael. Her friends, family and co-workers have been joking about it for months but they both thought that it would be something fun and a new way to share their story. They were happy to do it as well as were very happy.
They worked with a photographer and got their pictures clicked as they waited when the mall was empty to capture the best shots. Bailey Blair from Opal & Onyx Photography chose all of the shots, and Kacie completely credits her with having the vision to make her dream come to life.
Kacie told that the couple wanted to have fun and she was overwhelmed to have such a beautiful lady as she trusted her with everything and was also thrilled to have the photographer in their wedding. Even the human resource manager got into the fun by providing them with the customized badge as Kasie approached her boss as she was moving forward with the shoots. She was super thrilled then and tells that they still have their original badges. And on the day of the shoot, the bride-to-be says that some of their friends were working at the store, so it was a lot of fun to talk with her friends in between shots.
Netizens have gone crazy over the new idea but not all of them appreciate this work, tells Kacie. The reactions have been mostly optimistic the teacher says. The couple has received a lot of stories from people about how they met their spouse while working at Target as well, which has been really neat to hear. But of course, it’s the Internet, so there is bound to be haters. They have had a little bit of pessimist’s review also where people think this idea is “dumb” and comments about our hair, outfits, poses and other things. Some comments are tough to read, but they have had some pretty thick skin for the most part.”
Kacie says that she and Michael will be getting married in the mountains of Colorado next summer and are groovy to spend the rest of their lives with each other. And lastly, she said,” Our wedding has a lot of romantic, nature-inspired details, and our color palette is very soft! No red here!”
